This is where you have the chance to put your artist, site or service forward for a BT Digital Music Award. Click on the categories to find out if you're eligible to enter, what you'll be judged on and how to submit your entry. Many of our categories are free to enter, and you just have to fill in a simple online form – so what do you have to lose?

The deadline for entries is August 26th, so you have until that date to complete the online entry forms, or to return the downloadable forms. Please note that entries for the People's Choice Awards can be received right up until September 27th but the earlier you enter, the more votes you'll attract. These awards will open on 15th August so check back then if you want to enter Best Music Blog, Best Unofficial Music Site or Best Official Music Site.

A popular new category last year was the Best Breakthrough Artist category designed to encourage entries from new artists who are promoting their first release. And the Best Music Hardware category gives us a chance to explore some of the most innovative gadgets out there which make listening to and making music even easier and even more fun.

The Best Podcast category will see two awards being given – one for audio–only podcasts and one for podcasts which include video. And the Best Music Store category embraces stores which exist online as well as those on mobiles.

The Best Mobile Campaign category is for artist campaigns as well as campaigns for other music services and products. Best Digital Service welcomes entries from both online and mobile services whether they're focused on consumers or business. And the Artist of the Year category is the new name for the old Best Artist Campaign category.
